French expertise plays a key role in cycling, with the major events held in France a testament to this.
The challenges posed by cycling are wide-ranging, from mobility and transport in redesigned cities to making cycling accessible to everyone, including women, and innovating our industry to promote our expertise and preserve the value chain in France and Europe.
Discussions with the President of the UCI and the President of the French Cycling Federation were extremely rich and helped shed a light on details of the coming challenges for cycling in France and abroad.
These include the Super World Championships, a major cycling event whose first edition will be held in August 2023 and feature 19 disciplines (mountain biking, track, road, BMX), and men’s, women’s, juniors and parasports events, with future editions held every four years.
Together, we can prepare the next stages, both in France, with the 2027 Super World Championships in Haute-Savoie, and abroad by working with the world’s most dynamic countries!
EIG France Sport Expertise would like to thank David Lappartient for taking part in the fourth edition of Prolongations alongside Michel Callot, and to our partner Viparis for being such excellent hosts.
