INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS: EURO, AFCON, FIFA, WORLD CUPS
Hosts of international tournaments are frequently faced with the challenge of having to build, renovate or increase the capacity of existing stadiums according to demanding specifications and often very tight deadlines and budgets.
Alcor Equipements has extensive experience in these types of competitions, and notably:
increased the capacity of Bordeaux and Lyon’s stadiums for UEFA 2016
renovated and increased the capacity of Yaoundé and Douala’s stadiums for AFCON 2022
built a 20,000-seat stadium in Yamoussoukro with a French business consortium for AFCON 2024
COMMUNITY PROJECTS
Our easy-to-assemble system means initial investments are low, making it ideal for small-capacity modular stands for community projects. Previous projects include:
- Two 500-seat stands in Dakar, Senegal
- Three 500 and 1,000-seat stands in Nouakchott, Mauritania
- Two 110-seat stands for the Koumassi Agora in Côte d’Ivoire
- 1,724 stadium seats for seven additional agora in Côte d’Ivoire
