France Sport Expertise welcomes an American delegation from Los Angeles
Published on 12 July 2024
A few days prior to the 248th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America, France Sport Expertise had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Global LA at the Palais Brongniart.
Members of our group enjoyed a privileged time of dialogue with some of the people who are helping to make City of Los Angeles the vibrant, attractive area which is already attracting a great deal of French investment. The meeting was an excellent opportunity to discuss the appeal of the City of LA, as well as the outlook and vision for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
During our talks, we were also able to discuss the institutional layout of the sports economy in France in the light of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, thanks to the French Ministerial delegate for sport economy Cedric Roussel’s precise contribution. Claude Revel, President of France Sport Expertise, was also able to present the architecture and goals of the “Filière Sport”, a forum for cooperation between private and public players in the French sports economy.
We thank our esteemed guests for their participation to this meeting:
• Terri Batch, President & CEO, Global LA
• Dylan Kendall, VP Branded Strategies, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce
• Sarah Harris, President & CEO, Black Business Association
• Rafael Patiño, Deputy Senior Commercial Officer, US Embassy Paris
France Sport Expertise’s member companies were present in force to discuss in depth with this group of representatives. Many thanks to Alcor Équipements, CRYO CONTROL, GL events, Hurricane Group, LOXAM, Metalu Plast, ODIHO-Sound In Silence, SPARTNER Agency and VIPARIS for their presence and active contribution to this meeting.
We look forward to further discussing with our American counterparts to ensure the best possible long-term integration of French expertise in the field of major international sporting events in the city of Los Angeles!
