“Anticipating and positioning yourself on international markets” was the topic of the round table organized by France Sport Expertise during the Sport Définition event held this June 5 at the Adidas Arena. The discussion brought together :
- Claude Revel, president of our group, who introduced this important subject of economic intelligence and moderated the discussion;
- Barbara Desmarest-Moser, VP Marketing, Communication & Fan Solutions, Member of Vogo’s Executive Committee;
- Anne Rhodain Fernandes, Sales Director France, Orange Events;
- Olivier Charrier, Partner at Trail.
The speakers took the opportunity to underline the tough international competition and the need to prepare the ground as an organization and as a collective. Interesting feedback and methodological elements were shared by the speakers on how to approach foreign markets (and/or investors). Following these exchanges, participants were able to share proposals for process improvements to better meet the financial, institutional, commercial and other needs of French companies.
France Sport Expertise warmly thanks the participants in this round table, as well as the audience, who asked numerous in-depth questions raising crucial points on the issues raised.
Following a speech by Olivier Ginon, Chairman of GL events and co-chairman of the Filière Sport, on structuring an ecosystem, many of our group’s member companies were represented at the various speeches and round tables throughout the day, including MyCoachSport, Spartner Agency, Metalu Plast, GL events, Orange and VOGO.
We would like to thank Bpifrance, in particular Mustafa Curlu, and François Missoffe, for organizing this event and providing an opportunity for the French sports economy community to meet and discuss.
