More than just sport
Metalu Plast leads the European market for the manufacture of sports equipment, sports enclosures and multi-sport grounds. An SME based in Soliers, in the Normandy region of France, the business has evolved with the times by offering innovative products that meet our clients’ needs. Metalu Plast brought in 23 million euros in turnover in 2023, ships to over 40 countries, and produces more than 3,000 football goals, 200 multi-sport and five-a-side football grounds, and over 700 miles of enclosures every year.
Dedicated entirely to manufacturing, Metalu Plast is supported by a network of trusted distributors and installers developed over the years for the sale of its products.
Metalu Plast is meticulously organized to ensure every one of its clients’ projects are a resounding success. The in-house design office analyses the specific needs of each project to create made-to-measure solutions. Our sales representatives assist clients throughout the process, identifying their needs and offering personalized solutions. Production is monitored by the customer service team and design office, who coordinate the various stages and ensure plans are followed to the letter. Metalu Plast also offers clients access to a wide range of tools to facilitate the sale and assembly of their productions, including data sheets, assembly instructions and videos, and an online customer space.

High-quality French manufacturing
To maintain complete control over the entire production chain, Metalu Plast carries out all manufacturing processes internally. The decision to manage every key stage of production has enabled the company to obtain ISO 9001 certification, a reflection of the trust clients across the world can place in the quality of our products, our commitment to client satisfaction, and our high-level business development support.
Metalu Plast was also one the first sports equipment manufacturers to be awarded Origine France Garantie certification.
In addition to these certifications, Metalu Plast is a member of the EIG Management Committee. Finally, the company is part of Collectif France Football and a signatory of the Foot 5 Charter.
These two initiatives set up by the French Football Federation aim to bring industry players together to promote France’s expertise internationally.
Projects throughout the world
Metalu Plast ships to four continents and has supplied equipment to the world’s leading events, including the Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire (2023), the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco (2022), the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon (2021) and the FIFA World Cup in Russia (2018).
The business has invested in developing a team dedicated to sports projects outside France, notably opening two offices in the United States and Morocco. The six members of the team speak fluent English, Italian, Arabic and French.
In addition to these investments, Metalu Plast has Authorized Economic Player status, guaranteeing the safe transport of products, professionalism in interactions with partners, and smooth passage of goods through customs.
